Highland Cow Painting Class

Highland Cow Painting Class

Come along to our unique painting class to learn how to paint a highland cow with Jan Laird.

The class is held at New Cumnock Town Hall (31-33 Castle, New Cumnock, Cumnock KA18 4AN) in the painting room upstairs. These rooms were recently renovated by the Princes Trust and are a brilliant (bright) space to work in.

Each class has a limited amount of participants to allow Jan time to interact with each child to help them create their very own masterpiece. This also allows the child to meet Jan personally and ask her questions about art.

Our classes are 2 hours long and we ask you to arrive 10 mins early to complete emergency contact information etc before the class begins.

Classes are £20 in total. We ask that you pay a £10 non refundable deposit to secure your place, with a further £10 in cash on the day.

Jan will provide quality canvas's (ready to hang) along with the best quality brushes and paints for them to complete their highland cow painting. Each child will be shown (step by step) how to draw the cow and then be taught how to mix and apply the paint.
